Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you & Sayakaya B.V. ("we"). By using Delulu Bestie you agree to them. If you downloaded Delulu Bestie from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

1. What Delulu Bestie is, & isn't

Delulu Bestie is a self-reflection & motivation app: breathing, visualisation, affirmations, guided imagination & encouragement. Delulu Bestie is emotional support, not therapy. It is not a medical device & doesn't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. It doesn't replace a doctor, psychologist or other professional. Imagining or affirming an outcome doesn't guarantee it.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line straight away.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least [16] years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.

3. Bestie Plus subscriptions

• Delulu Bestie is free to download, unlimited for the first 7 days & then with daily limits. Bestie Plus unlocks unlimited use, all Time Travel journeys, all music, all themes & the AI features.
• Plus is offered monthly or yearly at the price shown in the app before you buy. A 7 day free trial may be offered on the yearly plan; if you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
• You can manage & cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under EU law.

4. The AI features

Some Bestie Plus features write a reply with AI (Anthropic's Claude) around the words you type. Replies are generated, can be imperfect, & are not advice. Use them as encouragement, not as a basis for medical, financial or legal decisions. Don't type anything you wouldn't want processed as described in the Privacy Policy. A fair daily limit applies.

5. Your content

What you write in Delulu Bestie stays on your phone & belongs to you. You are responsible for backing it up; deleting the app deletes it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, its content, music or artwork, or try to get around its limits, except as the law allows.

7. Ownership

The Delulu Bestie name, logo, artwork, text, music & software belong to us or our licensors.

8. Liability

We provide Delulu Bestie with care but "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Changes & ending

We may update the app & these terms; we'll show the new effective date. You can stop using Delulu Bestie at any time.

10. Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
